11. Rejecting object

This dyad is often full of grievance, accusation, and rage.
The person may carry an internal world in which one part of the self is forever complaining to an internal rejecting figure:
“You hurt me.”
“You never gave me what I needed.”

But the person cannot let go of the rejecting object because it is still an object. Even hatred preserves attachment.
